The Liora Experience
The Liora estate sits at 320 metres above sea level on the caldera rim at Megalochori — a position that gives our vines uninterrupted Aegean light and our guests one of the most singular views in Greece. Every visit begins with a walk through the estate vineyards, where you can see our old-vine Assyrtiko growing in the traditional kouloura basket shape, trained low against the volcanic soil to protect them from the island wind.
From there, guests move through our winemaking facility — the gravity-fed cellar completed in 2019, cut directly into the basalt — before settling on the terrace for a guided tasting. Our winemaking team leads all sessions. There is no script, and questions are not just welcomed but expected.

Choose Your Flight
All tastings are guided by a member of the winemaking team and take place on our caldera terrace or in the cellar, depending on your choice. Advance booking is recommended; same-day visits are accommodated when space allows.
The Aegean White Flight
A focused journey through our white wines. Three expressions of Assyrtiko — from our youngest vines through to a barrel-aged reserve — plus our Savatiano from Attica. Served on the caldera terrace with local cheese and olives.

The Heritage & History Tasting
Our most comprehensive tasting — six wines across all three collections, including a vertical of the Heritage Red from two consecutive vintages. Opens with a cellar walk through our gravity-fed facility, built into the volcanic rock in 2019.

Sunset Terrace Session
Timed to begin one hour before sundown, this premium session pairs our full range of eight wines with a curated small-plates dinner. The caldera light at this hour is something words struggle to do justice to. Maximum 8 guests. Advance booking required.

Last tasting session begins 90 minutes before closing. Walk-ins are welcome when capacity allows, but advance booking is strongly recommended for all Sunset Terrace sessions.

15 minutes by taxi or local bus (KTEL). Taxis available from Fira Square. Bus route Fira–Akrotiri passes through Megalochori.
From Oia
25 minutes by taxi. Car hire available from Oia's main square.
By car
Parking for up to 8 vehicles on the estate. The entrance is marked by the Liora stone gate on the main Megalochori road.
